Zuleika Mitchell (Zuly) came to the United States in 2010 with the (Singers of United Lands) representing her native country Venezuela on a tour of the United States and Canada. She has a Bachelors Degree in Music with a Major in Voice from the Venezuelan Institute of Musical Studies in Caracas Venezuela where she also taught as a voice instructor. She has recorded with various musicians and has a solo album featuring Venezuelan traditional music. She was a member/soloist in the Camerata Barroca de Caracas specializing in Baroque music and has conducted choirs at two major churches in Venezuela. She has performed tango recitals, has background in opera, and since her migration to the US has sang various styles of American music in the acoustic trio The Lazy Jacks with her husband. She was a licensed Kindermusic instructor and is comfortable teaching voice in both English and Spanish to adults and children.
